Essential session cookie
Padikam uses one anonymous, HttpOnly session cookie to keep AI requests secure and apply fair-use safeguards. It does not contain a student name, email address, password, or API key and expires after seven days.
Optional learning preferences
Only after permission, Padikam stores curriculum, class, stream, subject, language, theme, XP, completed activities, study planner tasks and chat history in this browser. These records do not sync across devices. Switching to essential-only storage in Cookie settings removes optional saved data from this browser; the current visit can retain in-memory work until the page is closed or refreshed.
No advertising cookies
Padikam does not use cookies for targeted advertising or sell cookie information. Optional preferences are used only to keep the learning workspace consistent.
Voice input
Microphone access is requested only when a student chooses voice input. Audio is sent for transcription and is not intended to be retained by Padikam after the request completes.
AI conversations
Questions and the minimum learning context required to answer them may be sent to the configured AI provider. API keys remain on the server and are never placed in the browser.
Student safety
Padikam should not be used to submit sensitive personal, financial, medical, or identity information. Privacy questions can be raised through the official Padikam contact channel.
